We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters, providing legal advice and representation to our clients in the banking, commercial litigation, and insurance defense sectors. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of litigation, including discovery, courtroom proceedings, and drafting legal documents. Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  • Represent clients in courtroom proceedings, ensuring their rights and interests are effectively protected.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed discovery to gather necessary information and evidence for each case.
  • Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients in the banking sector, focusing on creditors' rights.
  • Handle commercial litigation cases, developing strategies to effectively represent our clients' interests.
  • Defend insurance companies in litigation, understanding and addressing the unique challenges of this sector.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact our clients.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney with a focus on discovery, courtroom proceedings, drafting legal documents, creditors' rights, banking, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of representing clients effectively in court.
