Salary Range:
18-25/Hour based on experience
Description/Expectations:

Hendler Family Brewing Company is seeking an organized and resourceful individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. This is an entry level position that supports the daily activities of brewing, cellaring, packaging and delivering beer. This role supports all production areas of the brewery by preparing work areas and materials, maintaining organization, and performing regular cleaning tasks. A clean driving record is required. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience and training in a production brewery!

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Performs the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods
  • Maintains organization of warehouse and production spaces while following company safety standards
  • Ensures the safe and reliable operation of all associated vehicles and machinery, including performing preventative maintenance
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts & weekly cycle counts
  • Accurately assemble orders for outbound shipments
  • Assisting the packaging, cellar, and/or maintenance teams as needed
  • Assists the setup, cleaning and breakdown of work areas
  • Responsible for delivering goods between various locations as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Job Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
  • Ability to bend, move, twist, and reach with arms, legs, & torso.
  • Ability to lift and move at least 150 lbs.
  • Ability to make decisions independently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work weekend coverage as needed
  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled/refrigerated environment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a high pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience driving a box truck is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both with management and fellow associates.
  • Multilingual (English, Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the craft beer industry and appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
  • Experience with Google suite, SAP, and/or Microsoft office suite of applications.
