Overview

Fountain Tire Leduc, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associates to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

  • Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

  • Experienced Automotive Tire Technician: 2+ years of experience in the automotive/tire industry is required
  • Entry-level Automotive Tire Technician: Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
  • A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
  • A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
