Responsibilities

  • Support talent sourcing and attraction activities, including the use of resume databases and social media platforms.

  • Identify and pre-screen candidates based on established criteria and operational needs.

  • Conduct pre-screening calls and assist with phone or virtual interviews under supervision.

  • Coordinate the various stages of the recruitment process, including assessments, background checks, and pre-employment steps.

  • Ensure timely follow-up with candidates and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Collaborate with operations managers to align staffing needs with recruitment efforts.

  • Participate in follow-up meetings and support the analysis of recruitment performance indicators, including hires, no-shows, and pipeline health.

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations or in business administration.

  • Basic proficiency in computer tools, including Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS)

  • Strong ability to manage priorities and work in a high-volume environment.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.

  • Effective in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
