Job description

CPMC is seeking an IT Journeyman Computer User Support Specialist to support the Government-provided warehouse operations. This role will be integral to the management of the receiving, inventory, and distribution of all IT assets at the warehouse, including shipping to GSA designated locations in accordance with GSA IT procedures and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position shall perform the following (to include but not limited to) activities:

  • Perform administrative duties in support of warehouse operation and transportation of products.
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and tracking receipt, distribution, shipment, and disposition of assets in support of complete lifecycle management of assets at the warehouse facility.
  • Supporting refresh and project inventory management and distribution, including asset mapping to owners, projects, and locations.
  • Install Microsoft Windows/Mac OS on laptops for refresh projects and break fix issues.
  • Install software as needed on new laptops and create user accounts.
  • Assist in mobile and laptop projects.
  • Install iOS and Android OS.
  • Wipe configuration and decommission network devices.
  • Collaborate with Network Operations and Project Teams on unboxing network devices and connecting to KVMoverIP Switches to provide remote access, control and management.
  • Coordinate various warehouse/transportation activities, including but not limited to verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, materials disposition, and inventory database system maintenance.

  • Advise Warehouse/Operations management of issues.
  • Confirm deliveries with customers as required.
  • Schedule equipment moves with customers and coordinate equipment deliveries.
  • Ensure all systems are up to date and accurate.
  • Develop and run reports as required.
  • Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and related equipment.
  • Coordinate cleaning of the warehouse.
  • Ensures all received shipments are stored and labeled appropriately.
  • Coordinate the claims process for salvage of damaged and used equipment.
  • Closeout equipment transaction.
  • Process RMAs
  • Coordinate lease returns with vendors and ensure paperwork is completed
  • Generate miscellaneous reporting
  • May assist management with ensuring safety needs and protection activities are in compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • CONTRACT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThis following are REQUIRED for this position:
  • Public Trust Clearance by start date.
  • ITILv4 Foundation Training and ITILv4 Foundation Certification, may be obtained within 120 days after hire.
  • Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
  • Performs work that requires practical experience and training.
  • Work is performed under supervision.
  • Provide administrative support to enterprisewide document management systems and related procedures that allow organizations to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a full and/or partial remote environment with limited supervision and may supervise/lead others.
  • Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients.
  • Maintain standard working hours per the DIGIT contract and to be available for meetings, and other collaborative efforts during working hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments with the ability to use practical experience and training to determine how to accomplish tasks.
  • CONTRACT DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe following are DESIRED for this position:
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Slack, and ServiceNow.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including holidays as scheduled.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    The following are the education and experience required for this position:

  • 2 7 years of experience and high school diploma or equivalent experience.
