Job description

As a crucial member of our IT team, you will be the gatekeeper of our IT resources and expenses. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of our IT hardware and software, as well as manage the billing operations for all IT infrastructure. We are looking for a highly meticulous individual with strong data handling skills (Excel & SQL) to ensure the efficient flow of IT assets, accurate financial tracking, and the absolute accuracy of our inventory data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Asset & Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all IT hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Procurement & Reporting: Handle IT procurement workflows and generate regular, detailed asset management and inventory reports.
  • IT Infrastructure Billing: Process, verify, and manage all invoices and payment requests related to IT infrastructure.
  • Spare Parts Management: Oversee the inventory of network equipment and server spare parts to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
  • Decommissioning: Process the decommissioning and secure disposal of end-of-life or unused IT equipment in strict accordance with company policies.

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and SQL for data extraction, reporting, and tracking.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a meticulous work ethic to ensure 100% accuracy in inventory data, billing records, and system records.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues.

Required Qualifications: 

Years of Education

Work Experience

$28.84-$31.25/hourly is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
