About ANDRITZ
THE ANDRITZ GROUP is a globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for hydropower stations, the pulp and paper industry, the metalworking and steel industries, and solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial sectors. In addition, ANDRITZ offers technologies for certain other sectors including automation, the production of animal feed and biomass pellets, pumps, machinery for nonwovens and plastic films, steam boiler plants, biomass boilers and gasification plants for energy generation, flue gas cleaning plants, plants for the production of panel boards (MDF), thermal sludge utilization, and biomass torrefaction plants.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years' experience as a support technician.
  • Should have an Associate's degree in the field of computer science or computer information systems, or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows 11, Office365 and Microsoft Teams
  • Basic experience with Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment both locally and virtually.
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient with mobile devices (iPhones & Android Phones)

Additional Knowledge and Desired Skills:
  • Experienced with Atlassian's JIRA and Confluence platforms
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:
  • Use Microsoft SCCM as a tool for user client setup, asset monitoring, software deployments, etc.
  • Use of a Help Desk Application to track and monitor user needs.
  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Specifying and ordering of new hardware and software.
  • Provide support to local users, remote users from other offices, home based users and manufacturing.
  • Supporting MS Office applications, Windows applications, and other software.
  • Promote the ANDRITZ standards in regards to hardware and software use.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines with little supervision.
  • Perform other tasks that may be required.
  • Hours are fixed at 8AM-5PM.
  • Occasional after hours, weekend, and on call duties may be required.
  • Travel requirement will be minimal, but occasional travel could be required.
