Role at a Glance
TAIT is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Graphic Design & Marketing Assistant to support the development of marketing, branding, recruiting, and business development materials across the organization. This role will work closely with marketing, recruiting, business development, and technical teams to create compelling visual content that effectively communicates TAIT's services, culture, and brand.
The ideal candidate is a skilled graphic designer with a strong understanding of visual communication, branding, and presentation design. They are comfortable translating technical information into engaging graphics and marketing materials while maintaining consistency across all company communications. This position is initially part-time and offers potential for future full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design and produce marketing, proposal, recruiting, and business development materials using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Design and develop content for LinkedIn and social media platforms, including but limited to, project announcements, employee recognition, recruiting initiatives, and company communications.
  • Support proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) through document layout, formatting, graphics development, and production.
  • Create and maintain templates, project sheets, resumes, company profiles, presentations, and other branded collateral.
  • Develop custom graphics, infographics, maps, charts, process diagrams, and visual content that communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Design and produce PowerPoint presentations for client interviews, business development efforts, recruiting events, conferences, and internal initiatives.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing, proposal, and communication materials.
  • Manage and organize marketing assets, including project photography, graphics, templates, and digital libraries.
  • Coordinate project photography and assist with maintaining project databases, project descriptions, and marketing content.
  • Create graphics and content for social media, recruiting campaigns, company communications, and website updates.
  • Design advertisements, brochures, one-pagers, banners, handouts, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with technical staff, project managers, recruiters, and business development teams to support strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Provide production support for deadline-driven proposals and special projects as needed.
  • Perform other related graphic design, marketing, and proposal support duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Portfolio or website showcasing graphic design, presentation design, and marketing materials required for consideration.
  • Advanced proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize AI-powered tools to enhance graphic design, content development, marketing production, research, and workflow efficiency.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint and presentation design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, branding, and visual communication principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills, Work Experience and Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience creating and maintaining website pages through a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress preferred. Familiarity with website design, development, and web technologies, with the ability to support future website enhancements and expanded website management responsibilities, is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in engineering consulting, architecture or similar industry.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative mindset and a passion for marketing.
Physical/Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work within an office environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 15lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to drive personal vehicle as needed for large printing projects or other.
  • This is an in-office, part-time role with a work schedule of Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Salary and Benefits
