Position: Warehouse Specialist/Delivery Driver – full-time

Location: Peacedale, RI

Wage: $20.00-$22.00 hourly - based on experience

Supply New England is a well-established company which provides plumbing, heating, cooling and generator equipment and supplies for contractors throughout southern New England. We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Specialist to join our team. We welcome entry-level applicants with a strong desire to learn and develop as well as seasoned specialists.

Warehouse Specialist/Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Pick customer order tickets
  • Merchandise and stock product on displays and in self-service areas
  • Efficient and effective loading and unloading of trucks
  • Inspects materials according to instructions and reports damaged goods
  • Process inbound materials to the warehouse. Compares quantities shown on packing slip or manifests with actual items received
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Ensures materials are placed in the designated area within the warehouse
  • Stacks skids or pallets in designated area. Cleans up and disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and places in proper container or designated area
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, shelves, pallet area, workstations and counter area neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • General housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dusting, empty trash
  • Loads delivery truck with product securely-avoid damages
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record – Motor Vehicle Report
  • DOT Health Card (or obtain within 1 month of hire date)
  • 1 or more year(s) of experience as truck delivery driver
