Chemical Process Engineer Co-Op
Location: Seville, OH
Type: Full Time Co-Op / Paid Intern Department: Plant Operations

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE;
  • Perform engineering projects utilizing sound design principles
  • Works with operations team to identify and implement safety and production CI initiatives.
  • Create work instructions and perform job hazard analyses for areas on the production floor.
  • Participate in safety improvements for all equipment and continuous quality improvements for processes
  • Creates layouts and process diagrams to support standardization and CI.
  • Identify hazards by analyzing jobs and their associated tasks.
  • Assist in ensuring the site complies with corporate process standards. This includes preparation for the annual corporate process audit and follow-up on all issues raised during the audit.
  • Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with the development of appropriate solutions.
  • Working in an office environment with limited exposure to the production floor where various rubber, adhesives, grease, oils, carbon black, steam and industrial manufacturing machines are used.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
