Job description

Growing Manufacturing Company in Butte, Montana has a need for a Process Engineer. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation.

Prefer a B.S. in Engineering, and a minimum of 2 years experience.  Research and development work will include batch, continuous-batch and continuous processes. The candidate should be familiar with various designs of mixing processes including solid-solid, liquid-solid, liquid-liquid systems. Working knowledge of mixing fundamentals and design parameters for conventional mixing processes are essential. In this role, the candidate will take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion. The candidate will generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and to support development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare protocols. The position will require research and application of advanced chemical engineering theories, methods and research techniques in solution of complex and advanced chemical engineering problems. The candidate will also be required to write reaction protocols, research reports, prepare grant proposals, and to periodically present work in a team setting and to customers, clients, investors, government organizations, and collaborators. This position affords the successful candidate the opportunity to conduct work in a rewarding environment developing materials related products, and to see those products utilized in real client applications.

Requirements of the position are: BS in Engineering.  Minimum 2 years’ experience. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment • Strong work ethic and team player attributes • U.S. Citizenship • International travel will be required
