We design and manufacture carbon fiber components for Industrial, Aerospace, Medical, Scientific, Sporting goods, and even Musical instruments.

JOB SUMMARY

Perform various production-related duties in assembling customized composite products for customers, including operating multiple basic hand and power tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operates several basic hand tools to assemble products.
  • Cut raw materials with scissors, electric scissors, rotary knives, and utility knives.
  • Prepare tools by the application and removal of various release agents.
  • Lay-up fiberglass or carbon fiber, epoxy fabric, and peel ply.
  • Vacuum bag components for the cure.
  • Demold composite parts after cure.
  • Trim composite parts to a pre-determined size by deburring edges.
  • Visually inspects all production materials for foreign objects and conformance with quality standards.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Understanding of and experience with light mechanical operations.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and measuring devices.

WORK LOCATION

  • In-person at our corporate office in Elbridge, NY

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS

Moderate mental and visual attention is required for performing manual work, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that need frequent decisions to detect and adjust for a variance from proper operation.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to reach, stand, lift, use fingers, crouch, walk, stoop, push, pull, grasp, feel, talk, perform repetitive motions, and hear.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
