Who We Are
PartsBadger is changing the way companies source custom manufactured parts by blending technology with manufacturing. We run a clean, climate-controlled, modern shop — new Haas VMC mills, robotic automation, organized layout. No dim lighting, no dirt floors, no equipment that breaks down more than it runs.
We've been named a Future 50 winner four years running, ranked #23 in U.S. Manufacturing by Inc. 5000, and recognized as Ozaukee County Business of the Year. But what we're most proud of is the team we've built — people who take ownership and want to grow.
The Role
This is a structured entry-level position for someone new to CNC machining or making a transition into an automated cell environment. You don't need to know everything on day one — that's the point. You'll train on Haas VMC mill operation, robotic arm cell workflows, and PartsBadger quality standards under the guidance of experienced operators.
Advancement from Trainee to Operator I is expected within a defined training window as you demonstrate competency. The path forward is clear, and we invest in people who show up ready to learn.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Operate Haas VMC mills under direct supervision in an 8-machine automated cell
- Learn part load/unload procedures working alongside Universal Robots arms
- Perform cutting, cleaning, and deburring operations to quality standards
- Complete inspection paperwork and job traveler documentation accurately
- Keep your workspace clean and organized — we take the shop environment seriously
- Develop basic troubleshooting skills with support from your Lead and team
What We're Looking For
- Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to doing things right
- Comfortable using hand tools and calipers
- Able to prioritize and manage time in a fast-moving environment
- Reliable — you show up, and you follow through
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Any prior exposure to CNC machining or manufacturing environments
- Basic blueprint reading or GD&T knowledge
- Familiarity with machining industry tooling
2nd Shift Schedule & Premium Pay
We're specifically hiring for 2nd shift and offer two flexible schedule options:
- Sunday–Wednesday: 4×10-hour shifts
- Thursday–Saturday: 3×12-hour shifts
- $2.00/hour 2nd-shift premium
- Additional weekend bonuses for eligible weekend shifts
These schedules provide the opportunity to work fewer days each week while still maintaining a full-time schedule. If you're looking for a nontraditional schedule that gives you more days away from work, this could be a great fit.
