Regional Sales Representative- Entry-Level
Location: Remote – Eastern United States

Salary: $65,000 + uncapped commission + company car

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Representative is an entry-level outside sales position responsible for supporting regional sales efforts throughout the Eastern United States. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and building a strong sales pipeline within industrial plant and heavy industrial environments.

This position is intended as a developmental role with a clear growth path into regional sales leadership. The selected candidate will receive hands-on training and mentorship while gaining exposure to both capital equipment sales and aftermarket service solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads through market research, networking, and targeted outreach within industrial sectors
  • Promote and sell a portfolio of industrial equipment, services, upgrades, and aftermarket solutions to new and existing customers
  • Identify opportunities within current customer facilities for equipment replacement, refurbishment, modernization, and parts sales
  • Conduct on-site equipment assessments and surveys, including work performed at elevated heights when necessary
  • Prepare and present budgetary and formal sales proposals to prospective customers
  • Develop strategies to target aging or obsolete equipment for replacement and modernization opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities within the CRM platform
  • Develop and maintain strong technical and product knowledge across all product lines and services
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to support customer engagement and business development activities (approximately 50% travel)
  • Professionally maintain and safeguard company-issued property and equipment
  • Handle all company and customer information with discretion and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sales experience; industrial or technical sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 50% within the assigned region
  • Must reside within two hours of a major airport
  • Comfortable working at heights and within industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling industrial equipment, heavy machinery, or technical solutions
  • Familiarity with vertical access systems, construction equipment, or industrial plant operations
