AV/VC Break/Fix Technician: #13314

Location: Onsite - Pleasanton, CA (Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm, possible overtime)

Our vision is to revolutionize the deployment and support of technology worldwide. The AV/VC Break/Fix Technician plays a crucial role in providing high-level technical assistance to the internal users of our client, requiring a solid understanding of VC platforms such as Zoom and Cisco. Demonstrating expertise in IP Networking technologies, including knowledge of the OSI model and experience troubleshooting TCP/IP based issues, switches, routers, etc., is essential. SIP and Slack knowledge, along with familiarity with the AV/VC industry, including integrators, hardware manufacturers, and best practices, is also required.

Required Skills

Minimum of 2 years experience in the IP Networking technologies, including knowledge of the OSI model and experience troubleshooting TCP/IP based issues, switches, routers, etc., is essential. SIP and Slack knowledge, along with familiarity with the AV/VC industry.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Strong focus and organizational skills
Understanding or willingness to learn wiring diagrams and signal flow
Basic knowledge of AV integration and installation
Basic understanding of multiple DSPs
Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple competing tasks
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow knowledge is a plus)
Exposure as an operating technician for live audiovisual special events is advantageous

Responsibilities

Maintain, find, and repair Tier 2 issues reported by users and issues reported to the AV Support queue (issues can include AV cable replacement, room display calibration, sound adjustments/calibration, etc.)
Operations validation against documented VC standards
Inbound support task management
Escalation of complex issues to appropriate support teams
Connect Windows and Mac devices to Audio Visual equipment
Instruct users in the operation of equipment if necessary
