Outsource is currently looking for an Audio/Visual Field Engineer/ Service Technician for a great opportunity in the San Diego Area. This is an immediate opportunity! Our client is growing and has an excellent reputation in the A/V industry.


Audio/Visual Field Engineer Job Details:

  • Provide high level field service on various Audio/Visual equipment.
  • Control system and user interface programming and commissioning.
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot/test control system programs.
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Assist with system testing and commissioning.
  • Work with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, etc.
  • Create service reports for clients.
  • Partner with the Engineering Team to ensure smooth project delivery.


Audio/Visual Field Engineer Qualifications:

  • At least five years of high level Audio/Visual SERVICE experience in Commercial environments.
  • CTS Certification a plus.
  • Crestron experience and/or certification is preferred.
  • Biamp, CleraOne, QSX, Symetrix experience a plus.
  • Experience communicating with customers at a high level.
  • Experience troubleshooting system components.
  • Experience commissioning systems.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
