Job description

Job Summary:
First Fun is a next-generation mobile game company that leverages AI to redefine game development. As a Software Engineer, AI Application, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered systems for Unity-based game development, integrating AI research with production engineering to automate various workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement AI-driven tools and services that automate Unity game development workflows
• Integrate LLMs, generative AI models, and ML systems into production pipelines
• Build real-time inference systems and backend services to support AI native game development
• Develop SDKs, APIs, and internal tools that connect AI services with Unity projects
• Optimize AI integration for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with game engineers to productionize AI native content generation
• Build AI systems for procedural content generation, asset creation, balancing, and QA automation
• Implement evaluation frameworks to measure AI output quality and impact
• Continuously improve model performance through prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and feedback loops
• Partner with game designers, data scientists, and product managers to define AI use cases
• Translate experimental AI prototypes into stable production systems
• Contribute to AI architecture strategy and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven software engineering experience, preferably in gaming or AI-driven systems.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, C# and Python
• Knowledge of model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation pipelines
• Experience integrating ML/AI models into production applications
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, scalable system design
Preferred:
• Experience with Unity development (C# scripting, editor tooling, runtime systems)
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, generative AI, or multimodal models
• Understanding of game development lifecycle and live ops
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
