Job description

This is a 5 week assignment. Great for people who are looking to build their resume or in between jobs.
This is an entry level position. You will qualify as long as you are familiar and good with hand tools, installation and following detailed directions.


The Equipment Installer (IT Equipment) Entry Level plays a vital role in setting up and configuring essential IT hardware within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment consisting of IT and facilities personnel. This role focuses on the installation of audio/visual equipment, network hardware, and computers along with their peripherals, ensuring all setups meet safety standards and organizational requirements. Working alongside a large technical crew, the installer uses basic hand tools and performs tasks without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and install IT equipment including audio/visual devices, network hardware, and computers
  • Manage and organize cables to ensure neat, safe, and efficient configurations
  • Track inventory and confirm equipment availability for installations
  • Prepare installation sites to meet technical and safety standards
  • Adhere to all safety compliance regulations throughout the installation process
