Location: Remote – with hybrid support (1–2 days onsite in Rosslyn, VA; must be local to DMV area)

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to support a federal client in delivering software solutions that drive mission-critical operations.

In this role, you will support the technical implementation of software product delivery by working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, support testing, and ensure solutions align with business needs. This is an ideal opportunity for a Business Analyst with early-to-mid level ServiceNow experience looking to grow within a federal environment.


Responsibilities

As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will:

  • Support the technical implementation of software product delivery
  • Interface with business stakeholders, technical team members, and end users to gather and document requirements
  • Develop user stories, workflows, and functional specifications based on client needs
  • Support the technical implementation of ServiceNow and related software solutions
  • Apply industry best practices and software expertise to design solutions that align with business processes
  • Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation of system functionality
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure delivered solutions meet and exceed functional requirements
  • Maintain documentation for requirements, testing, and system processes

Schedule & Shift Details
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Remote with hybrid support (1–2 days onsite in Rosslyn, VA; must be local to DMV area; East Coast hours required)

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or software delivery
  • 0–2 years of experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms (entry-level exposure acceptable)
  • 0–2 years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
  • 0–2 years of experience with functional test planning
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional documentation
  • Exposure to application testing and writing test scripts is ideal
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both business and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow implementations or ITSM workflows
  • Exposure to functional test planning or QA processes
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or SAFe)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Experience supporting federal or government programs
