KADCON is looking for a talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support the delivery of our commercial projects. This role will be crucial in ensuring the seamless and successful execution of the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to close-out. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the project manager and superintendent to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated and delivered to meet our high standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in project management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in estimating, bidding, takeoffs, and document review.
  • Assists PMs and superintendents in preparing and modifying project schedules, material schedules, project sequencing and project safety plan
  • Prepares RFIs and submittals and manages project logs ensuring timely processing
  • Preparation of meeting minutes.
  • Collects superintendent daily reports, review for completeness and report any issues or deficiencies to PM

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of related construction industry experience to successfully perform duties and responsibilities described above under general project management guidance
  • Degree in construction management, engineering or architecture is preferred
  • Read and understand all construction documents (Plans, Specifications, Addendum, etc.)
  • High level of computer experience
  • Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills
  • Detail oriented, Fast Learner, and Team Oriented.
  • Solutions oriented with excellent problem solving skills
