Job Summary
Markade Plumbing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager Assistant to support our Project Management team in the successful execution of commercial plumbing projects.
This is an entry-level, growth-focused position designed to provide hands-on exposure to construction project coordination, documentation management, field operations support, and cost tracking. The right candidate will receive structured training and mentorship, with a clear pathway toward Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in commercial construction.
Key Job Duties
  • Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administrative tasks
  • Track and update RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Maintain organized digital project files within Procore, Bluebeam, and internal systems
  • Support schedule updates and milestone tracking
  • Ensure current drawings and specifications are distributed to field teams
  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments as directed
  • Assist with material tracking and delivery coordination
  • Participate in job walks and project meetings as needed
  • Support change order documentation and tracking
  • Help track project costs and input data into reporting systems
  • Maintain builder contact information and project communication logs
  • Assist with safety documentation and jobsite compliance tracking

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; construction management coursework preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in construction, trades, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn construction project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in both office and jobsite settings
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Interest in long-term career growth within project management
