FMA PROGRAM ASSISTANT Level III
Division: CAS Department: FMA Experience: Advanced
Job Code: FWSFMAHUPRGASST1 Supervisor/Reports To: Andrew Reed
Start Date: 8/25/2026
This program assistant is a highly skilled student leader who takes the reins on video projects and FMA social media content. They mentor and delegate to other student workers while helping manage the lab environment and supporting classroom instruction. This position is ideal for upper-level students with strong shooting, editing, and production experience.
Responsibilities and Career Competencies:
  1. Create and edit video content for FMA social media platforms and university-related projects under supervisor direction (T, C, CT, P)
  2. Lead student production teams on assigned shoots and projects; delegate responsibilities to mid/entry level assistants as appropriate (L, TW, C)
  3. Oversee the FMA Lab during designated hours, ensuring it remains productive and welcoming to students (P, C, L)
  4. Provide class support or in-lab mentorship to students as directed by the supervisor (L, CSD, TW)
  5. Collaborate with Pike TV staff to support campus sporting and live events, contributing at a leadership level appropriate to this tier (TW, T, P, L)
