Job description

Description:

Weโ€™re looking for an Architectural Project Manager + Design team member who can help bring interior construction projects to life from early concept through final installation. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys the details of construction, the creativity of design, and the energy of managing projects with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

In this role, youโ€™ll serve as a key project leader and communicator, helping coordinate schedules, estimates, proposals, design approvals, procurement, change orders, and installation activities. Youโ€™ll work closely with clients, architects, engineers, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members to keep projects moving forward, solve problems proactively, and deliver high-quality results.

Youโ€™ll also support preconstruction and bidding efforts by reviewing plans and specifications, attending bid walks, preparing project budgets, identifying scope requirements, and developing thoughtful design solutions. This position requires someone who can balance creativity with precision, communicate clearly, and stay organized while managing multiple moving pieces.

The right person for this role is driven, adaptable, detail-oriented, and excited by the opportunity to help shape spaces in a smarter, more innovative way. Youโ€™ll play an important role in helping us deliver memorable project experiences while supporting our mission of revolutionizing interior construction.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of construction knowledge, project management skills, design capability, and client-facing communication.

Preferred qualifications and experience include:

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of construction-related experience is preferred, with prior experience as an estimator, project manager, or general contractor being a plus.
  • Experience reading and understanding architectural plans, structural plans, bid documents, specifications, and construction-related scopes of work.
  • Ability to create accurate cost estimates, perform high-level take-offs, review vendor and subcontractor pricing, and support project profitability.
  • Experience coordinating project schedules, procurement timelines, submittals, RFIs, plan revisions, change orders, and installation activities.
  • Working knowledge of construction practices, costs, procedures, local building codes, and approval processes.
  • Experience with Revit or similar design software is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret schedules, flowcharts, Gantt charts, and step-by-step project action plans.
  • Strong organizational skills, including multitasking, prioritization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, designers, architects, engineers, and internal team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues early, recommend solutions, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Comfort negotiating with clients, vendors, and project partners when needed.
  • A flexible, adaptable mindset and willingness to embrace new technology, processes, and tools.
  • PMP, CMT, or other project management certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Above all, weโ€™re looking for someone who brings integrity, professionalism, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent work.
