Job Description

The net.AMEIRCA Corporation is seeking an entry-level Application Engineer to assist with the modernization of the Grants Management System and work as a part of the development team. The candidate will provide hands-on coding, code profiling, work closely with client subject matter experts, the functional team and management to ensure the successful development of the solution.

Qualifications

Responsibilities, but not limited to:ย 

Java Development - Design / Development / Test (90%)

Attend Client meetings to discuss system requirements (10%)


Required Skills:

B. S. in Computer Science or equivalent

1+ years overall professional experience in Information Technology Consulting and Systems Developmentย 

1+ years minimum experience in developing applications using Java, J2EE, SQL

1+ years in systems development with RDBMS


Preferred Skills

1 year experience in using IBM Rational Suite for Requirements Management

1 year experience in using IBM Rational ClearCase for source and document versioning

1 year experience with Websphere BPM or Process Server/Choreographer

1 year experience with Web logic AS

1-2 years of experience in agile software development

1-2 years of experience in continuous integration

1 year experience with Rational Team Concert, Jazz platform

1-2 years of experience working in a CMMI Level 3 Systems Integration Environment
