Job Summary -
Health Systems Application Programmer is an entry-level position, the primary responsibility is to gain in depth knowledge of the tools and techniques of the Company and Team and clinical data exchange standards. The position is expected to take all available opportunities to become proficient at supporting strategic initiatives related to eConnectivity and Innovation tools. Under close supervision, the position will be responsible for participating in ideation and discovery sessions and developing, testing and deploying clinical data integrations and application program interfaces (APIs).
Job-Specific Requirements:
โ€ข A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
โ€ข Exposure to programming using Java or other languages, JSON and web services (SOAP, Restful, Microservices) is preferred.
โ€ข Exposure to developing queries for databases such as SQL Server and DB2 is strongly preferred.
โ€ข Familiarity with software development software lifecycle methodologies is preferred.
โ€ข Strong documentation skills are required, including writing, interpreting, and communicating technical documentation.
