Job Description
Anderson and Koch Ford is hiring a skilled and driven Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic service department. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a high-performing, team-first environment. You'll handle routine maintenance and complex repairs while collaborating with fellow technicians and service advisors to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, occasional Saturdays
Pay: $50,000-$80,000 annually, based on experience and certifications
Sign-On Bonus
We're offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this position:
  • $2,500 paid after 90 days of employment
  • $2,500 paid after 180 days of employment

Work Requirements:
  • Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to Commute: North Branch, MN (Required)
  • Work Location: On-site

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs across various vehicle systems including brakes, HVAC, engine, suspension, and electrical
  • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Conduct test drives when needed to ensure vehicle performance and safety
  • Coordinate with service advisors to communicate status updates and additional repair needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow all shop safety protocols
  • Provide guidance and support to entry-level technicians when applicable

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician preferred
  • Ford certification or willingness to pursue certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with automotive software and diagnostic tools
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
