Job Title: Entry-Level Medical Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative
Location: Carmel, IN (Fully Onsite)
Pay Rate: $17-$20/hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flexible Start Time (7:30 AM - 9:00 AM), 8-Hour Shift
About the Opportunity
LHH is partnering with a reputable healthcare client in Carmel, IN to hire an Entry-Level Medical Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch or grow a career in healthcare revenue cycle. While prior experience is preferred, it is not required-we are looking for motivated, reliable individuals eager to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with medical accounts receivable processes, including reviewing and following up on outstanding claims
  • Communicate with insurance companies and payers regarding claim status and discrepancies
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in billing systems
  • Identify and resolve billing issues in a timely manner
  • Support the revenue cycle team with administrative tasks as needed
  • Utilize computer systems and tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook effectively
Qualifications
  • Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; prior AR or healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Stable work history with consistent attendance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Fully onsite role in Carmel, IN
  • Flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM
  • Standard 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
