Position Summary:

Fusion is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Construction Administrator to provide project administration, compliance assurance, document control, and coordination support for secure construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. This role supports project teams by maintaining construction documentation, coordinating project communications, and helping ensure compliance with contract and documentation requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing construction environment.


Clearance Requirement

Active Secret security clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain any additional customer-required clearances or access authorizations.


Key Responsibilities:

Construction Administration & Documentation Support

  • Maintain and organize construction documentation for multiple concurrent projects
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, compliance logs, and related construction documentation
  • Maintain accurate document control processes, version tracking, and construction records
  • Support preparation and compilation of project closeout documentation and turnover packages
  • Ensure construction records are properly maintained in accordance with project and contract requirements

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate communication among project managers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Schedule and support construction meetings, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes
  • Track action items, document updates, and project correspondence
  • Assist with distribution of project documentation, reports, and status updates
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and stakeholders within secure project environments


Compliance & Administrative Support

  • Support QA/QC documentation and inspection record management
  • Assist with compliance tracking and reporting activities
  • Support project teams with administrative coordination and day-to-day project support
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive project information

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Ability towork in high-security environmentsrequiringstrict access controls and security protocols
  • Mixed office and active construction-site environment
  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments, including nearhigh-voltage switchgear and substations
  • Requireslifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
  • Occasionaltravel to other sites or campusesas needed
  • Onsite position: night or weekend work may be necessary based on construction schedules

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related field required; Bachelors degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction administration with demonstrated experience supporting document control, project coordination, field engineering, or related construction support activities
  • Experience supporting federal construction projects, DoD environments, military facilities, or government contractingpreferred

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using construction document management or project management platforms such as Procore, e-Builder, Primavera Contract Management, or similar systems preferred
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, compliance tracking, contract documentation, and construction administration processes
