Job description

A growing professional services organization is seeking an entry-level Accounting Clerk to support their finance and project teams. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering strong exposure to accounts payable, vendor management, and project financial operations. This a hybrid position with very limited onsite needs.

Key Responsibilities Review, code, and process accounts payable invoices Set up and maintain new vendors in the accounting system Assist with data entry and maintenance within an ERP system Support project-related financial and administrative workflows Monitor shared inboxes and handle communication with internal teams and vendors Provide general administrative support to finance and project teams Qualifications Entry-level candidates with A/P, accounting support, or administrative experience preferred Exposure to an ERP system Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment Highly reliable, organized, and motivated to develop within accounting or finance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) Additional Details Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Very hybrid work environment (primarily remote with occasional onsite collaboration) Standard Monday–Friday schedule Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
