LGS Technologies is a long-established custom fabricator specializing in die-cutting, water jet cutting, laser cutting, and CNC machining. With more than 73 years of steady growth, we pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and long-term relationships—with our customers and our employees.

We are seeking a professional, friendly Receptionist who enjoys being the welcoming presence of an office and supporting a busy customer service team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to build office experience in a stable manufacturing environment.


What You’ll Do:
  • Answer and distribute incoming phone calls to the LGS Switchboard.
  • Takes and returns phone calls that may require prompt action. Distribute phone messages left on the night service answering system. Make business calls for employees who do not have outside lines. Utilizing Phone Paging system page other co-workers if needed.
  • Greet, Sign-in, create security badge, and announce visitors.
  • Prepare morning reports and distribute these reports.
    • Daily Cost Analysis Summary Report for President.
    • Daily Shipment Report for A/P. Close all shipments.
    • Daily Order Verification-Check orders input into system by Order Entry.
    • Daily All invoices that shipped, separate invoices, copy tracking/shipping information into system, separate A/P & A/R’s invoices and disseminate accordingly.
  • Open, prepare, and disseminate both Inbound and Outbound company mail.
  • Provide Employment Applications & LGS Employment testing to potential job candidates. Grade Testing and distribute applications and testing/results to HR.
  • Perform Special projects as necessary to include typing, data entry, word processing.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 1 to 3 months related experience and or training.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Professional phone etiquette and basic computer skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
