Job Title: CNC Operator (2nd Shift) | AerospaceLocation: Long Beach, CA 90805 (On-site)Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM–12:05 AMPay: $19–$28/hr (DOE)Type: Contract / Temp-to-HireWhy this roleJoin an aerospace manufacturing team producing precision machined components. You’ll run CNC mills, keep production moving, and support quality and safety standards in a structured, fast-paced environment.What you’ll do• Operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines (may run more than one machine as needed)• Load raw materials and unload finished parts to maintain production flow• Monitor machining cycles and report issues quickly (tool wear, alarms, quality concerns)• Verify setups using job travelers and internal documentation• Check/replace cutting tools and inserts as required• Perform basic inspections using calipers and micrometers• Deburr / break edges for safe handling and downstream operations• Support quality requirements aligned to AS9100• Move material/workholding using forklift and/or overhead crane (training may be available)• Keep area clean and organized (6S/housekeeping)• Record production activity accurately in the ERP system• Support basic machine upkeep (coolant checks, filter/chip management)What we’re looking forRequired / preferred:• Entry-level to junior CNC experience (aerospace is a plus)• Comfortable reading travelers and basic manufacturing documentation• Familiar with hand measuring tools (calipers/mics)• Strong attention to detail, safety-minded, dependable attendanceNice to have (not required):• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience• Multi-axis machining exposurePhysical requirements• Stand for extended periods• Lift up to 25 lbs• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environmentExport compliance requirement (important)This position requires access to export-controlled technical data subject to U.S. export control laws (including ITAR).PandoLogic.
