Title: Enrollment Assistant

Job Summary
The Enrollment Assistant supports the admissions and enrollment process at the college by providing high-quality customer service to prospective and current students. This role assists with application processing, registration support, records management, and student inquiries while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures. The Enrollment Assistant serves as a key point of contact for students, guiding them through admissions requirements, enrollment steps, and related services to promote student access, retention, and success.
Job Duties
  • Access and correctly interpret information in Banner related to admissions/records/financial aid.
  • Analyze and problem solve student situations to provide accurate responses.
  • Anticipate student needs, always providing the most thorough information.
  • Review documents to determine validity and scan, verifying documents are readable and all pages have been included.
  • Deal with conflict situations and assist in providing solutions.
  • Communicate with students through email, phone and in person conversations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher.
Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
Proficiency using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of admissions, records and financial aid in college/university setting.
Ellucian Banner 9 knowledge.
Experience working in an educational setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess excellent communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work autonomously, making confident decisions as well as serving as a team
player.
Ability to adapt to change as college and departmental policies and procedures change.
Ability to accurately communicate information verbally and in writing in a courteous and
professional manner.
Ability to organize and prioritize work appropriately and independently on a daily basis.
