Job description
Moravia is currently looking for Italian native speakers for an onsite Language Lead position at our Moravia IT offices in Seattle, WA.
Candidate must me a top-performer in both translation and editorial fields for the Italian language.
Initial placement length: Three months.
Type of job: Part-time
Locations: From-home + Availability to go onsite in Seattle once a week
Desired Skills and Experience
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Drive linguistic quality.
• Editing and translating directly in localization tools.
• Creating and maintaining glossaries, style guides, and translation memories.
• Working with localization PMs, localization vendors and quality assurance engineers to drive linguistic, terminology, and style issues to resolution.
• Planning and executing linguistic quality assurance tasks.
Basic Qualifications
• Native level fluency.
• 3+ years of demonstrated English to native language software localization and editing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and native language.
• Demonstrated technical experience with localization and terminology platforms and tools.
• Strong problem-solving, project management skills, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand complex applications, and system concepts.
• Interest in and flexibility to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, multitask, and deliver high quality results under tight timelines.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, technical communications and/or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Quality Assurance experiences a plus.

• Knowledge of and affinity with client's products and services.
• Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle.
