Your role at GEI.
GEI is seeking a highly motivated individual to act as a Quality Assurance Technician to support a dam reconstruction project managed by a team in our St. Louis, MO Office. This project is full time in Hamilton, Illinois / Keokuk, Iowa for 2026 and 2027. This position will lead construction inspection teams, coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams, coordinate with third-party testing agencies, coordinate third-party contractors, support our design teams with constructability reviews, and support our office staff with the production and review of deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required, AS degree in Engineering Technology, BS in Construction Management, or related field highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction inspection and testing capacity with experience in soils, concrete, and bituminous paving.
  • Previously certified from ACI in soil or concrete testing
  • Previous Resident Engineering Experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and valid driver's license are required.
  • Must be willing to travel for both short and long term assignments.
