Job description
A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their Effingham office!
Responsibilities:
- Team member of Structural/Bridge Design Group
- Manage projects by directing the design, coordinating work between staff/design team, and creating scope/budgets
- Analyze and design bridges, culverts, foundations and other transportation-related and building structures
- Main contact for clients, contractors and local officials
- Prepare engineering project proposals
- Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineer preferred
- 8+ years of bridge design experience
- Registered PE
- Registered IL Structural Engineer
- Project Management experience with DOT clients
- Experience leading projects through collaboration with team and managing tasks
- Proficient in MicroStation/ORD platforms and structural analysis/design software
- Knowledge of bridge construction materials including Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete
- Knowledge of construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
