Job description

Full-service engineering firm is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer/Project Manager for their Effingham, Illinois office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design/project management of roadway, highway, ADA compliant sidewalk and multi-use facilities
  • Review/provide roadway design elements (horizontal/vertical alignments, cross sections, intersection layout, drainage design, utilities conflict/relocations)
  • Traffic studies and field data collection
  • Assist leaders in finding solutions to problems


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer
  • 6+ years of experience with transportation engineering and roadway design experience
  • Experience working on municipal and/or governmental roadway/highway projects
  • PE License preferred
  • Experience working with governmental clients in Missouri and/or Illinois
  • Proficient in MicroStation
  • Experience with Highway/Roadway Plan Production

Salary is commensurate with experience.
