This position is based out of our LaFargeville, Vernon or Arkport, NY locations. It is required that the candidate hired will be based on-site at one of the three locations depending on their location and will require travel to all 3 sites depending on project needs. Relocation assistance is provided for this position.Job Summary:

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, industrial, chemical, or Electrical Engineering fields of study if applicable, or 7 – 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or Associate's degree and 15 years related experience.
  • Prior experience in the food, beverage, or related manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of process controls and automation systems is advantageous.
