Job description

Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Project Manager for our Building & Land Engineering Division in our Poughkeepsie, NY office. This position will provide managerial leadership and overall direction on projects. The Project Manager will oversee construction efforts to ensure that a project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

  • Identify prospective clients and, in conjunction with senior management, arrange to make proposals
  • Prepare proposal estimates of time and expenses required to complete projects
  • Participate in presenting proposals to clients
  • Participate in selecting the project team
  • Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with client and Project Officer
  • Assign duties to the project team, answer questions, and monitor progress
  • Check the accuracy of completed work
  • Maintain a close relationship with the client throughout project development and after completion
  • Provide administrative supervision of assigned staff, including performance feedback and advancement recommendations
  • Ensure that work is performed safely, in accordance with the firm's safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain full responsibility for project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Perform other related work as apparent or assigned

  • Eligibility for appropriate professional certification in your specialty
Physical Requirements
