Job description

Job Description:

SECO USA is seeking an energetic, highly-motivated individual with a keen mind for project management to join our team in designing rugged devices and their underlying circuitry and software technologies used in a variety of handheld, tablet, and industrial equipment applications. The successful candidate will have experience managing interdisciplinary projects and have a strong working knowledge of embedded electronics.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing development projects through SECO’s product lifecycle process, from requirements definition through mass production, serving as a primary interface between SECO and the client.
  • Effectively communicate with both internal (core team, management) and external (customer, suppliers) stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain Microsoft Project Gantt charts.
  • Manage project requirements, including technical requirements, contract change control, quality, on-time delivery and on-target cost.
  • Organize between cross functional teams, including design engineering, test & validation, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and finance.
  • Monitor and verify gate deliverable documentation by core team members.
  • Review and provide continuous improvement input for engineering design process.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related technical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
  • Strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on ITAR projects (US person).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree or background in Electronics, Systems or Hardware Engineering
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP (specifically SAP) a plus.
  • Work within a process-oriented environment in military, medical, or commercial industries.
  • Experience interacting at a technical level with savvy customers.
  • Experience with microprocessor and microcontroller-based designs.
  • Experience with printed circuit board design and manufacturing.
  • US citizenship.
