We are building lithium-ion battery recycling facilities producing a high-quality black mass containing cobalt, nickel, manganese, and lithium in the first stage of a closed-loop solution for lithium-ion battery manufacturers. Blue Whale Materials has established its first recycling plant in Bartlesville, OK. As we grow, we are seeking talented and motivated candidates to join our team. Compensation is based on experience.**Job Summary:**The Sr. Engineering Project Manager will lead technical and Capital projects from engineering through construction phases with responsibility for scope, schedule and budget. This role is based at our site in Bartlesville, OK. **Primary Responsibilities:*** Lead technical projects including but not limited to new process development, capital equipment and construction, and implementation of new systems and processes* Develop, maintain, and report on project control plans, schedules and budgets* Manage vendors and external contractors for front end engineering and EPC phases* Lead project reviews and ensure communication and collaboration for project success* Perform lead role in guiding capital projects through phase-gate process/deliverables* Other duties as required## Qualifications**Required:*** 7+ years’ experience in industrial capital project management* Bachelor’s in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline* Experience leading industrial capital projects (>$50MM) design thru construction* Experienced in contracts, contracting strategies, and capital equipment procurement* Experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors* Highly experienced in cost and schedule estimating and project controls* Highly experienced in both engineering and construction management* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills* Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling software and ERP systems* Familiarity with codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required**Preferred:*** Background in mining & minerals, li-ion battery and/or metals recycling processes* Commissioning management experience* Experienced user of both Primavera P6 and MS Project* PMP certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
