Job description

NPI (new product introduction) program managers are responsible for coordinating and managing new product introduction. Working with management and stakeholders, they schedule activities, coordinate between teams, set standards for quality control, handle budgeting, and ensure the success of the new product. As NPI Program Manager at Click Bond, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our aerospace fastener programs. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, project management skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. You will ensure that programs are executed efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with our high-quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Leadership:

  • Leadership skills, clarity of vision, conflict resolution skills, and the resolve to complete a complex project with several moving parts.
  • Lead and manage aerospace fastener programs from inception through completion.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor program progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of program milestones.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication between teams to address any issues and ensure seamless program execution.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Ensure all program activities comply with aerospace industry regulations and standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to meet customer requirements and company standards.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular program updates and address any customer concerns or requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze program performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance program management processes.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in program management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Experience specifically with aerospace fasteners is highly desirable.
