What You’ll Do

- Operate and optimize our state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility, ensuring water quality and environmental compliance.

- Work closely with a dynamic crew of engineers, vendors, and clients—your ideas and expertise matter here!

- Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve high-tech systems, from pumps and controls to lab testing and data analysis.

- Lead facility tours and help spread the word about sustainable water solutions.

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in water or wastewater operations (industrial or municipal)

- Knowledge of EPA and State regulations, plant operations, and lab testing

- Strong troubleshooting skills—mechanical, electrical, and controls

- A knack for teamwork, communication, and organization

- A passion for environmental protection and a drive to make things better every day

- Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate

- Licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in the state of Wisconsin or working toward one

- Experience with advanced treatment technologies such as MBR, biomass management, membrane processes, SCADA systems, and related safety practices

- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical basics, pumps, valves, piping, dewatering and solids handling equipment, hydraulics, neutralization and pH control, and biogas reactor operations

- Familiarity with microbiology, lab tests, and terminology like TSS, MLSS, and conductivity

- Experience with PLC and SCADA operation and programming

- Live within 30 minutes of Almena, WI
