Role Overview:

Exercise team collaboration and provide cross function support to entire studio to ensure proper project execution on all levels. Provides project setup support in the preparation of CAD and Revit drawings and project floor plans as well as basic adjustments to existing designs in the form of added redlines, schedules, and title blocks. Provides production support and organization for the team and the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a visual QAQC of the entire set of plans including but not limited to: Sheet numbering style: fonts, north arrow correctness & matching styles, sheet titles and title block are uniform and match architectural sheets, PDF’s plot in correct sheet limits, PDF’s utilize correct line types (CTB), scales of plans are accurate, etc.
  • Work with studio head/PM to coordinate expected delivery dates, times and title block information
  • Accurately distribute and track deadlines, RFI’s, plan changes and ship drawings
  • Assist team in setting up book specifications including fonts, headers, footers, legends, editing markups and delivery of documents
  • Accurately and timely sets up engineering sheets for assigned projects.
  • Accurately and timely updates title blocks, floor plans, CAD drawings, and Revit Models in accordance with required specifications and project parameters.
  • Accurately and timely plots, stamps and prepares documents to be sent to client after thoroughly examining documents for completion and neatness.
  • Assists Engineers with project parameters for assigned Engineering projects.
  • Accurately and timely write and send proposals when clients send an RFP.
  • Actively participates in weekly studio meetings to ensure proper cross function coordination.
  • Timely determination of priorities, taking ownership of tasks and exhibit a high level of initiative and follow through.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Engineering drafting standards & symbols
  • A High School Diploma required, with a 2-year degree
  • 1 to 3 years of AutoCad or Higher experience
  • 1 to 3 years of Revit or Higher experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills and proven attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel is anticipated between 0-10%
