Job description

Uprite Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of industrial and cold storage construction projects. This position offers excellent career growth while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents on technically challenging facilities.

What You'll Do:
  • Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and document control.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers.

  • Assist with scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and cost tracking.

  • Review drawings and specifications for completeness and constructability.

  • Help prepare change orders and project reporting.

  • Track long lead equipment and material deliveries.

  • Participate in project meetings and site coordination.

  • Assist with project closeout documentation.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of commercial construction experience.

  • MEP, Cold storage, industrial, food processing, manufacturing, refrigerated warehouse, or distribution center experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
