Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Manager
Client: Aerospace / Aviation / Defense Company
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: Full-Time
Shift: 4/10 Schedule
Relocation: Available for ideal candidate
Security: U.S. Citizen required (Security Clearance eligible)

Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers and designers while serving as the technical lead for mechanical product design, development, testing, and production support within an aerospace/defense environment.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members
โ€ข Support hiring, workforce planning, and performance management
โ€ข Drive mechanical design decisions for new and existing products
โ€ข Develop and validate mechanical designs and engineering solutions
โ€ข Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design analysis
โ€ข Support FEA, thermal, vibration, shock, and structural evaluations
โ€ข Provide technical input for proposals (RFPs) and customer reviews
โ€ข Troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues
โ€ข Partner with Quality and Manufacturing teams on corrective actions
โ€ข Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer standards
Required Skills
โ€ข Mechanical engineering leadership experience
โ€ข CAD experience (SolidWorks, NX, Solid Edge, etc.)
โ€ข GD&T (ASME Y14.5 / Y14.100)
โ€ข Tolerance stack-up analysis
โ€ข Mechanical product design & development
โ€ข Design verification and testing experience
โ€ข Manufacturing support and problem-solving skills
