Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure counts of raw materials consumed, parts produced, and scrap is accounted for during work hours and monthly cycle counts.
  • Initial visual inspection of molded and painted parts per operator instructions.
  • Identify defects in products and report to Supervisor if defects persist.
  • Mentor Trainees by orientating them to their tools, resources, and work areas.
  • Operate multiple assets in effort to meet customer demands.
  • Pack and label inspected parts or assemblies according to procedures.
  • Partial or final assembly of fabricated parts are identified, packed, and labeled according to procedures.
  • Report unsafe and significant changes including downtime in machinery, equipment, or parts to Supervisor.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure proper quality of work and efficiency.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Must possess demonstrated analytical capability; ability to work independently and as part of a team; good oral and electronic communication; ability to read, write, and speak English; basic level of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software; and experience using basic hand tools is required.

Physical Demands
  • Typical work environment includes 8 to 10 hours of standing, walking, using hand tools, and lifting product.
  • Schedule is 8 to 10 hours per day, 4 to 5 days a week and overtime can be mandatory.
  • Normal environment temperature is not regulated.
  • Personal protective equipment includes general duty gloves and safety glasses.
