We are looking for an AI Search,SEOand SEM Manager - Contract to own Altera's organic and paid search presence and lead our strategy across the rapidly evolving AI search landscape.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of marketing, content, web, product, analytics, and growth.

As search behavior evolves, customers are increasingly discovering brands through AI-generated answers, generative search experiences, and LLM-powered assistants. You will help ensure Altera is visible,accurate, and competitive across traditional search results, paid search campaigns, AI Overviews, generative engines, and LLM responses.

WhatYou'llDo

AI Search

  • Develop Altera's strategy across answer engine optimization, generative engine optimization, and AI Overview optimization.

  • Optimizecontent for visibility and citation across platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.

  • Strengthen Altera's entity authority, structured data, and technical foundations for AI search.

  • Define and track emerging metrics, including AI citations, generative share of voice, referral traffic, and assisted conversions.

  • Monitor changes in AI search platforms and adapt strategy as the landscape evolves.

SEO

  • Own the end-to-end SEO strategy for altera.com and related digital properties.

  • Lead technical SEO initiatives, including crawlability, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals, canonicalization, internal linking, and site architecture.

  • Conduct keyword, competitive, and content-gap research toidentifyhigh-value growth opportunities.

  • Partner with content and web teams tooptimizeexisting pages and developnew contentthat ranks, engages, and converts.

  • Incorporate SEO requirements into website redesigns, content migrations, and product launches.

SEM

  • Develop and manage global paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and other relevant platforms.

  • Own campaign planning, keyword strategy, audience targeting, bidding, budgets, ad copy, landing-page alignment, and conversion tracking.

  • Optimizeperformance across click-through rate, cost per click, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, and pipeline contribution.

  • Coordinate paid and organic search strategies to maximize visibility and improve efficiency.

  • Manage campaign testing, reporting, governance, and agency support as needed.

Analytics and Collaboration

  • Build integrated reporting across AI search, SEO, and SEM.

  • Translate performance data into clear recommendations for content, web, product marketing, and campaign teams.

  • Collaborate with product marketing,brand, engineering, analytics, creative, and regional teams.

  • Educate stakeholders on search trends, platform changes, and their impact on Altera's digital visibility.

Qualifications:

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, SEM, digital marketing, or search strategy, ideally in B2B technology, SaaS, semiconductor, or a high-growth organization.

  • Proven success driving measurable organic and paid search growth.

  • Hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns, budgets, bidding strategies, and performance optimization.

  • Experience with AI search optimization, including AEO, GEO, or AIO.

  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including schema, crawl analysis, Core Web Vitals, canonicalization, and indexation.

  • Proficiencywith tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Google Search Console, Google Analytics,Semrush,Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

  • Strong analytical,project-management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across marketing, content, web, engineering, analytics, and executive teams.

  • Experience in semiconductor, enterprise technology, engineering, or technical B2B markets is preferred.
