Equipment Rebuild Technician – Warehouse & Production

Los Angeles, CA | $21/hr + Overtime | Full-Time

Are you the type of person who likes taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and putting them back together?

Auto-Chlor System is hiring an Equipment Rebuild Technician for our Los Angeles facility. This is a hands-on position where you'll refurbish commercial dishwashing equipment so it can be put back into service at customer locations.

Think of it similar to working in a mechanic shop—but instead of working on different cars, you'll work on different pieces of commercial equipment. You'll tear machines down, inspect components, determine what can be reused or needs to be replaced, install replacement parts, and rebuild the equipment for its next customer.

When you're not rebuilding equipment, you'll support warehouse and production operations, including preparing chemical products, building pallets, receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and operating a forklift.

Schedule & Pay

  • Starting pay: $21.00/hour
  • Start time: 6:30 AM
  • Approximately 4–5 hours of overtime per week
  • On-call rotation about once every 7–9 weeks
What You'll Do
  • Disassemble commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Inspect parts and components for wear or damage
  • Determine which components can be cleaned and reused versus replaced
  • Replace worn or damaged parts
  • Reassemble and prepare machines for future installation
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical equipment issues
  • Clean and organize equipment and parts
  • Assist with production and warehouse responsibilities
  • Prepare and stack chemical products on pallets
  • Pour and handle cleaning chemicals following established safety procedures
  • Receive incoming deliveries and organize materials
  • Operate a standard sit-down forklift
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We're Looking For

You don't need to have rebuilt commercial dishwashing equipment after. We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working with their hands.

You may be a good fit if you have experience with:

  • Mechanical repair or equipment maintenance
  • Automotive, small-engine, appliance, or equipment repair
  • Manufacturing or production
  • Warehouse operations
  • Assembly or machine operation
  • Facilities or building maintenance
  • Hand and power tools
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment

Forklift experience is preferred.

Most importantly, you should enjoy figuring out how things work, be willing to learn, and be comfortable balancing mechanical work with warehouse and production responsibilities.
