Job Description:
Role Overview
As a Pricing Analyst, you will support Fluence's deal pricing engine by developing data-driven pricing insights, maintaining pricing datasets, and enabling commercial teams with actionable analysis. This role focuses on translating data into pricing guidance to improve competitiveness and consistency. You will also actively support key deal teams and opportunities across the globe and prepare pricing analysis for executive-level consumption.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze deal data, market benchmarks, and competitor pricing signals to support pricing recommendations
  • Identify pricing trends, deal outcomes, and drivers of win/loss performance
  • Support development of pricing guidance based on data and commercial inputs

Data Management & Infrastructure
  • Build and maintain pricing datasets across regions and products
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of pricing data
  • Support reporting and dashboards used by commercial leadership

Deal Support
  • Provide analytical support for active deals (benchmarks, margin checks, scenario analysis)
  • Prepare inputs for pricing reviews and approval processes
  • Ensure pricing assumptions are consistent with internal data and tools

Tools & Standardization
  • Support development of standardized pricing models and tools
  • Maintain Excel-based pricing models and support CPQ workflows
  • Improve scalability and automation of pricing processes

Presentation
  • Build key dashboards, presentations, and analysis and support presentation to executives and key decision makesr.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy Studies, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in the energy industry, particularly in power markets, renewable energy, energy storage, or related sectors.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with data analysis
  • Experience with data tools (SQL, Python, Tableau) a plus
  • Structured problem-solving and attention to detail

This is an onsite position, and we are seeking candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Fluence office and are available to work onsite four days per week.
