Project Finance Analyst

Reports: Director of Project Finance

Location: New York, NY on site

Salary: $110,000 to $120,000

Summary of Functions

The Project Finance Analyst, reporting to the VP of Project Finance, will be responsible for financial modeling, supporting the Company’s debt and tax equity transactions, and supporting ongoing capital calls as well as portfolio management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain tax equity and debt models required for the company’s ongoing capital raising efforts
  • Collaborate with Dimension’s development team, engineers, and accounting professionals to develop appropriate assumptions for project finance models
  • Assist in due diligence processes for tax equity, construction, and term loan capital raises
  • Create and maintain investment memos, lender presentations, and project summaries for Dimension’s portfolios
  • Develop and maintain project finance related intelligence (tax equity terms, property and sales tax information, local subsidies, RECs, etc.)
  • Support the Asset Management team with ongoing operating reports and draw requests

Qualifications

We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals who want to be part of a fast-paced and fluid company poised for growth in one of the country’s most rapidly changing industries. This role requires forward-thinking, innovative approaches and comfort with complexity and uncertainty. We are looking for individuals eager to move quickly with us.

  • Desire to work in a growing company in the renewable energy field
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in finance, banking, or power industry
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex financial models in Excel
  • Experience with tax equity and/or term debt transactions in renewables sector preferred
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses self-starter qualities with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and prioritize several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

Though Dimension believes in long term work/life balance, we also believe in short term imbalances. Long hours will be needed from time to time as dictated by deal flow and project deadlines.

Location

New York, NY, with a hybrid work schedule for 4 days in our NY office Monday to Thursday and Friday remote work from home.
