Job description

LifeTree Inc. is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly capable IT Operations & Infrastructure Administrator to lead and support the modernization of our organization’s technology environment. This role is ideal for an individual who understands both technology and business operations and can successfully bridge the gap between technical solutions and operational impact.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Microsoft business technologies, infrastructure management, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and organizational technology transformation. This individual must be comfortable working directly with executive leadership, managing sensitive information, and implementing scalable solutions in a growing healthcare services organization.

This role will be instrumental in completing the transition of the organization from Microsoft 365 Consumer platforms to Microsoft 365 Business/Enterprise environments while helping establish modern IT infrastructure standards, security practices, backup systems, endpoint management, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

  • Lead migration and administration of Microsoft 365 Business/Enterprise environments
  • Administer and support:
      • Microsoft Intune
      • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
      • Microsoft Purview
      • Exchange Online
      • SharePoint Online
      • Teams
      • OneDrive
  • Configure identity, access management, conditional access, MFA, and security policies
  • Develop governance standards for user access, data retention, device management, and compliance
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes and user lifecycle management

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain on-premises server infrastructure and network-connected systems
  • Establish and manage:
      • File storage solutions
      • Backup and disaster recovery systems
      • Server monitoring and maintenance
      • Endpoint imaging and deployment standards
      • Network storage and shared drive architecture
  • Manage backup technologies including Veeam or equivalent enterprise backup solutions
  • Coordinate hardware lifecycle management including laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices

Endpoint & Device Management

  • Develop standardized computer imaging and deployment processes
  • Manage Windows device provisioning, policies, patching, and security through Intune and related tools
  • Implement endpoint security best practices and compliance standards
  • Ensure consistent user experiences across devices and locations

Security & Compliance

  • Assist in establishing and enforcing cybersecurity best practices
  • Monitor and respond to security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance concerns
  • Maintain data protection and access control standards appropriate for healthcare environments
  • Partner with leadership on security awareness and operational risk mitigation

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Serve as a trusted technology partner to executive leadership and operational teams
  • Evaluate and recommend technology improvements with consideration for operational workflows and user impact
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner
  • Assist in developing long-term IT roadmaps, standards, and scalable processes
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and proactive problem resolution

Qualifications/Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive IT systems/operations administration or infrastructure experience
  • Experience working within corporate or multi-department operational environments
  • Strong experience with:
      • Microsoft 365 Business/Enterprise
      • Intune
      • Entra ID (Azure AD)
      • Purview
      • Veeam
      • Windows Server environments
      • Endpoint management and imaging
  • Experience implementing or supporting infrastructure modernization initiatives
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and managing confidential information
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, home health, behavioral health, or regulated service industries preferred
  • Familiarity with HIPAA/security compliance environments
  • Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure environments
  • Experience developing IT policies, procedures, and governance standards
